Hi all,
Well, here we are at almost 37 weeks. Our dr. has said she doesn't want me to go past my due date (May 31st), so if he doesn't arrive before then, we will force an appearance from Mack on May 26th, our 5th wedding anniversary. Based on how things are progressing so far (I'm almost 2 cm dilated and other gross things you probably don't care to know about), I'm betting he's not going to wait that long.
I get tired very easily these days and am pretty uncomfortable and sore. We are pretty much physically ready with the nursery and everything, but I'm not sure how mentally ready we are (although I guess we probably never will be). Part of me doesn't want this pregnancy to end...Ken has been an absolute hero and I have to say that I'm totally taking advantage of being spoiled and asking him to do everything!
Grandma and Grandpa will be coming up for Mack's arrival and we're considering a trip to Cadillac over the fourth so that he can meet some of the rest of the family. He's also very lucky to have an extended family of psuedo "aunts and uncles" in town...Betsy, Lisa, Colleen, Nadia, Patrick...the list is long, he's very lucky.
